Sarah and Luke Heaver would like to thank all the people at South Somerset for all their good wishes and kind words regarding Malc's heart attack. He is recovering well and will be out of hospital tomorrow (Wednesday) but it could have been a very different story. Malc has three blocked arteris in his heart.

But I would like to send a message to all of you at South Somerset. Malc's heart attack was in the main caused by SMOKING. He gave it up 9 years ago apart from the odd stupid moments but had still caused enough damage along with the stress that life can throw at you to threaten his life.

So I am telling all the young people in our club DO NOT EVER START SMOKING BECAUSE IT IS ADDICTIVE AND YOU WILL FIND IT VERY DIFFICULT TO STOP.Parents please be an example to your children. I see you helping your children on their bikes, maintaining their bikes,walking round with them with them with CIGARETTES HANGING OUT OF YOUR MOUTHS WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!!

Apart from anything else your children want to be good at Motocross. It is a sport of skill and PHYSICAL FITNESS. You will not see top class athletes smoking ...EVER!!!

Think about it ..... Now!!!!!

WE WOULD LIKE TO SAY WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND IT WAS AT YARLEY THIS WEEKEND SHAME ABOUT THE WEATHER BUT IT WAS A GOOD TIME. THE TRACK WAS BRILLIANT COULDNT WE USE IT MORE OFTEN??

WE CANT BELIVE THERE WERE SO MANY PROBLEMS WITH MARSHALLS. WE THOUGHT THE RULE WAS NO MARSHAL NO RIDE SOME OF US DID IT TWICE OVER THE WEEKEND YOU DONT MIND BUT WHEN WE WERE LUCKY TO ONLY NEED 10 MARSHALS AND WE COULDNT GET THAT MANY ITS A POOR SHOW. WE ARE ALL OUT TO SUPPORT OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS OUT THERE RIDING BUT WE HAVE TO TAKE OUR TURNS MARSHALLING. WE NEED TO SUPPORT EACH OTHER OR WE CAN SEE THE COMMITTEE GIVING UP ON US ALL AND ITS A SHAME FOR EVERYTHING THEY DO. THERE ARE REGULARS THAT CAN BE RELYED ON BUT WE ALL NEED TO DO OUR TURN.

FROM OUR NEXT MEETING THERE WILL BE NO NEED TO PROVIDE A MARSHALL , OBVIOUSLY THERE ARE STILL JOBS TO BE DONE TO MAKE THE MEETING RUN,SUCH AS LAPSCORING,STARTS,TIMEKEEPING,SIGNING ON ,SCRUTINEERING,CLERKING ETC, BUT WE HOPE SENCE WILL PROVAIL AND THE MEETINGS WILL RUN SMOOTHLY.THEN OUR KIDS CAN RACE AND THE PARENTS CAN WATCH !!!

since i have been home the hospital have told me that they have looked at the x rays again and i should be able to race in 4-6 weeks time which is better than first thought

Are the results from Enmore going to be club championship points and when are they going to be shown on the website. LW80

We are having a commitee meeting on tuesday,and will say after that IF Enmore will be counted as a championship. As goes the AMX/OPEN results they are up in the air at the moment because of confusion over who is open and who isn't !!

Can you please confirm that both days of the 2-dayer will count towards club champs not just the Sunday as stated in the original fixture list, if so what is the reason for the change please ?

BOTH SUNDAY AND MONDAY WILL BE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS AT TIVERTON.

As stated in the original fixture list ,if we need to cancel a meeting it will not be re-run .

We have decided to use the both days of a 2 day meeting to catch up.

Unfortunately we know this won't suit everybody but we need to have as many club championship rounds as possible

hi, couple of questions i booked in with the number from tmx can anybody just confirm i have my place and number 27 in the amx, also can i just get a day licence for each day or will i have to buy a full bsma licence?? and hows the track at tiverton as i have never rid there but am looking forward to it :)

Why was the last enmore re run as a club champs ? stated in the fixture re run meetings would be fun days, you're right it wont suit every one to run 2 days of club champs at tiverton, but then it suits those who make the decisions, give landrake a rest use henstridge

IT COULD BE POSSIBLE THAT THIS WOULD REPLACE THE CHAMPIONSHIP DATE FROM THE WEEK FOLLOWING THE 28TH AS THIS CLASHES WITH THE DES NATIONS AND FINAL BSMA NATIONAL

good news that the meeting on the 28th is no longer a champs we can now go to watch mx of nations at donnington and see the fastest riders in the world villapoto and stewart lets hope tommy shaun and billy can mix it with them and get on the podium lets hope more clubs do the same means more people to cheer our boys on.
